A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US...

Hi! I’m Clayton, Owner and Operator of More than Maintenance.

I fell into the role of a builder; I was initially working at a freezer works and was hired as an apprentice in the off-season. I was primarily doing residential renovations and was trained well in all areas of construction. 

I finished my apprenticeship in 2008; but due to the recession, minimal construction work was going ahead. Fortunately, I was headhunted by a company called PRS which handled large-scale sign installations. I traveled up and down the country for a number of years doing retail and commercial fit-outs for PRS and several years for Sign Foundry.

I started More than Maintenance around 3 years ago doing residential renovations, repairs, hard landscaping and more as well as sign installations and retail fit-outs. After being in the trades for 18 years, we have a great network of amazing subcontractors, a small but hardworking team who handle all jobs with a can-do positive attitude and a long list of loyal customers we always go the extra mile for, all of which makes More than Maintenance an exceptional building company to work both for and with.

OUR PROCESS

1.

Firstly, you’ll get in contact with us via phone, email or our online form. We’ll then get in touch with you about your project and will arrange a meeting to go out and have a look at the space.

2.

We then have a sit down with you where you tell us what you’d like done to the space. We’ll view the space, take measurements, and can add our 2 cents (if needed) on what would work best for the space.

3.

We’ll then price up the job, get a quote out to you and, once accepted, we can get to work. We can work alongside your architect/ other subcontractors involved in the build. If you don’t have any subcontractors in mind, don’t stress! We have a great list of subcontractors that we use on a regular basis for our projects.

4.

While we’re working on the project we’ll give you timeframes and will always aim to complete our work on time and within budget.

5.

Once we’ve completed the project, we’ll clear the space and give it a tidy. Job done! You’re now free to enjoy your new space.
